Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated June 10, 2026
There are two kinds of money on TutorPin, and they work differently. Your TutorPin subscription is paid to us and is covered by this policy. Lesson payments go directly from your students to you — TutorPin never touches them — so those refunds are set by you.
1. Your TutorPin subscription
New accounts begin with a 14-day free trial with no card required. You are not charged until the trial ends and you choose to continue.
The subscription is billed monthly in advance. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not billed again. Your public page stays live; your dashboard access ends when the paid period lapses.
2. Subscription refunds
Because of the free trial, you only ever pay after deciding TutorPin is worth it. We generally do not refund a month already started, since you retain full access for that period. That said, we want you to feel fairly treated:
• Accidental or duplicate charge: contact us within 14 days and we will refund it. • You were billed right after a cancellation you intended: tell us within 14 days and we will make it right. • Service failure on our side: if the product was materially unavailable for an extended period, reach out and we will discuss a credit or refund.
Approved subscription refunds are issued to your original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days.
3. Lesson and product payments (between you and your students)
Tutors collect lesson fees, packages, and digital products directly from students using their own payment methods. TutorPin is not the merchant of record for these transactions and does not process, hold, or refund that money.
This means each tutor sets and honors their own cancellation, no-show, and refund terms with students. We strongly recommend every tutor publishes a clear policy on their page (for example: free reschedule with 24 hours' notice, no refund for no-shows). If a student wants a refund for a lesson, that request goes to the tutor — not to TutorPin.
4. Disputes
We can provide records from your dashboard to help you resolve a disagreement, but we cannot reverse, adjudicate, or guarantee a payment that was made directly between a student and a tutor outside our system. Chargebacks on direct payments are handled by your own payment provider.
5. How to reach us
For anything about your TutorPin subscription, email billing@tutorpin.bio with the email on your account and we will help.
