Terms of Service
Last updated June 10, 2026
These terms are a plain-English agreement between you and TutorPin. The most important thing to understand: TutorPin is a software subscription that gives you a page. We are not a marketplace, an employer, or a party to the payments you collect from your students.
1. What TutorPin is
TutorPin ("TutorPin", "we", "us") provides software that lets tutors publish a public page, list offers, collect student leads, manage bookings, and share their own payment details. You ("you", "the tutor") use that software under a paid subscription.
TutorPin is a tool, not a tutoring marketplace. We do not match you with students, set your prices, take a commission on your lessons, or hold lesson funds. The relationship between you and your students is entirely your own.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when you register. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may use one account per person or teaching business. You may not impersonate another person, claim credentials, scores, or affiliations you do not hold, or reserve a handle in bad faith.
3. The subscription
TutorPin is offered on a recurring monthly subscription. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial that requires no credit card. After the trial, continued access to your dashboard requires an active paid subscription. Your public page remains live throughout.
Pricing is shown at checkout and on our pricing page. We may change prices on a going-forward basis with reasonable notice; any change will not affect the current billing period you have already paid for. Founder pricing, where offered, is honored for its stated term.
Subscription billing is handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Cancellation, renewal, and refund details are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Payments between you and your students
You collect lesson and product payments directly from your students using your own payment methods — your payment link, bank transfer, QR code, or local wallet. TutorPin is not the merchant of record for those transactions, does not process or hold that money, and is not a party to the agreement between you and your student.
This means you are solely responsible for delivering your lessons, honoring your own cancellation and refund terms with students, issuing receipts, and meeting any tax or regulatory obligations that apply to your teaching income. Any dispute over a lesson, a refund, or a no-show is between you and your student. We are happy to provide records from your dashboard, but we cannot adjudicate or reverse a payment we never touched.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use TutorPin to:
• publish unlawful, fraudulent, hateful, or sexually exploitative content; • infringe anyone's intellectual property; • mislead students about your qualifications, prices, or what they are buying; • send spam or harvest contact data; • probe, scrape, or disrupt the service or its security; or • resell or sublicense the software itself.
You own the content you publish (your bio, photos, offers, and materials) and grant us a limited license to host and display it so the service can function. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload.
6. Student data you collect
When students submit leads, bookings, or payment proof through your page, you become responsible for that personal data as its controller. You agree to handle it lawfully, use it only to run your teaching relationship, and honor any request a student makes to access or delete their information. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep TutorPin running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may perform maintenance that briefly affects availability. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that it will generate any particular number of students or amount of income.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TutorPin's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any dispute, loss, or chargeback arising from payments between you and your students.
9. Termination
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, exposes us or others to legal risk, or is used for fraud. If we terminate your account for a reason other than a serious violation, we will let you export your data first where practical.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use TutorPin after a change means you accept the updated terms.
